Applications

  • Municipal waste water
  • Industrial waste water
  • Rivers and surface water
  • Drinking water
  • Monitoring process liquids
  • Measurement of water quality for distribution or discharge
Color sensor

Description

The sensor measure the color intensity of water sample through the photometric absorption principle.

Method

The method is based on the photometric determination of the color intensity.. The light radiation that passes through the sample water is absorbed and the absorption is proportional to the color intensity. The measurement is expressed in Hazen scale (platinum-cobalt scale).
